People of Monaghan successfully organise events for The Gathering Ireland 2013

Last July, County Monaghan was one of the first counties in the country to hold community meetings regarding The Gathering Ireland 2013. Friends and families attended the public meeting working with trained facilitators to organise themselves for a local series of upcoming events. Discussions focused on Irish ancestry, sporting events, music, drama, literature, dance, business and much more.

After much deliberation and collaboration, the people of Monaghan have successfully organised a varied palette of regional events for 2013. A full listing of these events can be found at the official website for The Gathering 2013:
